Bin End Case

Our Bin End cases are a happy medley of those last little treats - as Trevor elaborates: "For me bin ends are often the best bit. That torn-off piece of bread that you wipe around the cooking pan, that morsel you snaffle as you pass the lamb roast remains on the worktop, wines not to be forgotten but placed on that special shelf where the last ones go…”

We have a flurry of newness: the Garrigue Blanc, pretty with notes of almond and jasmine, and a new vintage of the excellent Blanc-Sain, a Chardonnay whose feather-light touch of oak makes way for lemon zest and melon. Reds are fresh and lively like the also-new Lou Coco, a 100% Grenache delight, and new too is the mouthwatering, spicy and lifted La Cuvée de François. 

There are old favourites too. With two showings of Beausoleil we beseech the beautiful sun to stay for a little while: the rosé which you love so dearly is joined by the fantastic blanc - saline and complex with a hint of richness. When we crave the light and the bright and we have it in Saint Mitre’s Mozaik, lemon-fresh and crisply floral, the perfect aperitif in the evening heat; and if the dinner which follows is made on the al-fresco grill, the luminous, ruby charms of Les Grenadines will pair excellently with a generous char on a good sausage.
