NEW WINE CASE - THE MARCH SELECTION
March will be our season’s bridge, starting with the snow and ending with the delights of Easter. Now pull those curtains away, here is Les Grands Eparcieux with its hints of spring! And open the window, just a crack... with that little burst of freshness (it’s a breeze, not a draught!) here is that crisp and elegant Clos de la Fevrie Muscadet and exemplary Saint-Veran Burgundy.
And then Easter! Open that showy St. JOHN Blanc des Blancs on your guests’ arrival. Pair the Garrigue Rouge, a pretty and savoury Languedoc red which is new to our lists, with your roast lamb. And have the Bourgogne Blanc on the table too - or roast a chicken for those bottles, what a meal that would be! Then finally, when your guests have departed, take stock. You made it through that chaotic Easter Egg hunt. You made it through that weather. You made it through the Winter. Open up that Barfontarc, and look forward to the Spring.
