Château Laffitte-Teston is a new producer for us in 2022. We found them on the wine trail at the Paris expo – suffice to say – we were impressed! Modern, clean, and innovative Madiran wines.
This is a 100% Tannat red. Medium to full bodied, traditional in some senses with 12 months oak ageing, powerful but refined, smooth, and neatly made. Notes of coffee, vanilla, and blackberries dominate. Fantastic value.
